I believe healing and transformative growth occurs through relationship with others. My approach to therapy is both systemic and client centered. I believe the client is the expert on their life and my role is to provide support and aid in facilitating change. I look at family of origin patterns and how significant relationships impact our perspectives, experiences, and behavior. I believe the client should guide the therapeutic process and I am honored to be a part of the journey. My areas of interest include play therapy, issues with parenting, trauma, depression, anxiety, and couple’s therapy.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples. I have received training in non-directive experiential play therapy and love working in this modality. I have received training in utilizing sand tray in my therapeutic work with children and adults. I’ve also received training in emotion focused couple’s therapy and plan to continue the journey to become certified as an emotion focused couple’s therapist.
