Certified Clinical Trauma Professional
My passion is working with children, adolescents, and families through life’s difficulties. I believe in the therapeutic relationship and working collaboratively with my clients. My focus is on finding the developmentally and culturally appropriate tools to assist in the healing process.
I am trained in experiential child-centered play therapy and am a certified clinical trauma professional, but also employ a variety of additional techniques. My focus is on family systems, attachment issues, trauma, mindfulness, and creating self-acceptance and self-compassion.
I specialize in working with children and families of divorce, ADHD, anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, life transitions and women’s issues.
I am bilingual in English/Spanish and welcome clients to speak in the language in which they feel more comfortable.
I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Counseling from Bethel University. I also have a Masters of Teaching from Hamline University and a Bachelors in Studio Art from Gustavus Adolphus College.
