As a therapist it is my goal to give you the space, time, and support to overcome the struggles you may be facing. I work hard to help you find your own empowerment to work through the difficulties that life throws your way. I am gentle, yet direct when needed, in therapy. I utilize a strength based, and person-centered approach with clients while integrating mindfulness, experiential, and cognitive behavioral techniques. Specifically, I am trained in DBT therapy, sand tray therapy and Maternal Mental Health. When it comes to working with families or children/adolescents, my goal is to teach the family how to communicate and work together more effectively.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I specialize and enjoy working with clients who identify with anxiety, depression, LGBTQPIA, marriage and family concerns, blended families issues, body image/self esteem, and self harm. I especially love working with expecting and new moms and dads. As a mom myself, I know the real struggles that can come along with this transition. I am trained in Maternal Mental Health through 2020 Moms and Postpartum Support International and will be working towards the full certification. I love working with clients to help them learn self awareness, self love, and the ability to live a more healthy, happy, and fulfilled life.
